TREAM - Strategic Training and Retention of Employees And Managers, specifically deals with the hospitality sector with a major focus on training and HR strategies used to recruit and retain staff in hotels. Essentially, the project will address the two most important and critical issues facing the hotel and catering sector. how to get the right staff, and how to keep the staff. STREAM aims to develop an education and training tool for HR practitioners and recruiters in the hospitality sector. It will comprise of a multimedia training pack with which focuses on methods to improve recruitment practices, increase employee retention and address issues relating equal access to employment in line with national and European legislation as well as industry standards of excellence. Pre-accession countries are included enabling Slovakia and Cyprus to instigate best practice models of recruitment and selection by drawing on the experiences of other member states, and in harmony with EU legislation and directives.
